A Bit of Background

A Place of Testimonies & Hope

Hi, I’m Monae’ McFadden I'm currently 26 and from a small country town in South Carolina. As of August 30th,2025 I heard God called me out of my norm of doing hair for 11 years full time and he told me to come and walk with him and serve his people. It was scary for me, but I know that if God is guiding me, I know I'm in his hands. I went through so much in my little years of living, I didn't know my worth, I settled for less than. I allowed so much of things in my past that wasn't Gods best for me. I went through heartbreak plenty of times and it led me to start "finding myself" and looking deep within, and gracefully in that search, I found Christ. Exiting a toxic situationship and mental abuse relationships, I heard God called me out of my sin of homosexuality and that was the start of my rededication to God. I lost my father at 15 but this in fact was the hardest thing in my life I had faced but I overcame that. I know about fighting long term depression, chronic stress, not having enough to live, getting rejected, being disappointed, mental illness, striving so hard but still seemingly to not get anywhere. Now I'm here as a woman who has cried out to God through confusion, heartbreak, breakthrough, and deep silence.

“Where is Jesus?” isn’t just a question I asked in my darkest moments — it became the heartbeat behind this blog.

This is a space for the wrestlers, the waiters, the ones with tear-stained journals and unanswered prayers.

It’s for anyone who’s ever wondered if God still sees them… if He still speaks… if He’s still near.

I started this platform because I realized — testimonies are holy. They’re evidence of God’s hand even in seasons when we couldn’t feel His presence.

And just like the disciples wrote their journeys and it became the Bible — I believe that our modern-day testimonies still carry power, healing, and hope for others.

Whether you share your story or just read along, I pray this space reminds you that Jesus has never left.

Even in the silence. Even in the struggle. Even when you’re not sure what to believe anymore — He’s been there.

Let this be your reminder:

You are seen.

You are loved.

And your story matters.
